Board of Directors
The District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors elected at large for four-year overlapping terms. The President is elected by members of the Board, customarily for a one-year term of office.
	Leonard L. Battaglia, Director Term Expires December 2010	Mr. Battaglia is a retired local businessman who has served on the Board since 1975. He is the recipient of the 2001 National Environmental Award for Local Public Service from the Association of Metropolitan Sewage Agencies.
	Alfred M. Granzella, Director Term Expires December 2012	Mr. Granzella is a retired Pacific Bell executive who has served on the Board since 1985.
	Michael T. Caine, Secretary Term Expires December 2012	Mr. Caine has been a Finance Executive for several large Consumer Products Companies in the Bay Area, and has served on the Board since 2007.
	Paul C. Soltow, Jr, President Term Expires December 2010	Mr. Soltow is a retired Professional Engineer of a local business who has served on the Board since 1998.
	George H. Schmidt, Director Term Expires December 2010	Mr. Schmidt is a retired Pacific Gas & Electric executive who has served on the Board since 1992.
