The West County Wastewater District has existed for over 88 years for the purpose of protecting and serving the public health of the community through the construction and maintenance of a sewer system. The District's operation includes sewage collection, treatment and disposal, serving approximately 126,000 people. The District also provides contract services to neighboring communities to maintain various local government facilities. The District participates in the West County Agency, a joint powers authority, for the purpose of maintaining effluent and sludge disposal facilities. |
