Honoring the culture and resiliency of Native communities
The countless contributions and culture of Native peoples are celebrated at West County Wastewater (WCW) as we join other communities around the country in recognizing Indigenous Peoples’ Day on October 11, 2021.
At WCW, we honor the past, present and future of indigenous peoples. Today recognizes the legacy and impact of colonialism on Native communities and the resilience of contemporary Natives.
The day reminds us to treat all neighbors and community members with respect, equity and inclusion.
We encourage the community to join us in recognizing today as Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
