Sustainable, healthy communities rely on the people who live in them, and the diversity and traditions that different cultures contribute. In honor of Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month and our own AAPI employees, West County Wastewater (WCW) recognizes the ongoing importance of standing in solidarity with all community members facing inequities or injustice. At WCW, we celebrate our differences, which bring innovation, efficiency and greater accomplishments to the workplace and society.

With racially motivated discrimination on the rise nationally and a local spike in hate crimes against the AAPI community, WCW encourages local residents to speak up against bias and violence and recognize the determination, hard work and perseverance of our neighbors. By applauding and supporting the culture, heritage and contributions of AAPI community members, we strengthen our neighborhoods now and keep them thriving for generations to come.
