Please join us for our 3rd annual Clean & Green Community Cleanup!
Where: Wildcat Canyon Regional Park, Camp Buckeye at 5755 McBryde Ave, Richmond, CA 94805
When: Sunday, April 13 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon, please plan to arrive at 9:45 a.m. to allow for time to park
Parking: Please carpool if you can and park at the Alvarado Staging Area, which is just a way up from the main park entrance- look for signage and do not leave any valuables in your car.
Day-of Schedule:
9:50 a.m. – Arrive at the parking lot at Alvarado Staging Area and walk down to Camp Buckeye.
10:15 a.m. – Join the kickoff talk and safety briefing at the site; collect buckets, gloves, and other supplies.
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Community cleanup. Return to starting point by 11:45 a.m.
11:45 p.m. – 12:00 p.m. Wrap-up, photos, and snacks.
What to bring:
Old clothing (that you don’t mind getting dirty!)
Sturdy shoes that can get wet and muddy
An extra layer
Hat and sunglasses
Sunscreen
Water Bottle/Reusable cup
What will be provided:
Gloves
Trash Buckets and Bags
First Aid Kit
Hand Sanitizer
Water and snacks
Rain Policy: If the forecast changes to heavy rain, we will contact you via email by noon on Friday, April 11, to notify you that the cleanup is canceled.
Waivers: All participants will be asked to complete a liability waiver when you arrive on site.
