This Fourth of July weekend, West County Wastewater (WCW) encourages everyone to commemorate the freedom and independence of our country safely.
Fireworks can cause serious injury and spark wildfires. With California facing severe drought and extremely dry vegetation in our region, WCW urges residents to protect the community and the environment by celebrating without the danger of illegal at-home fireworks.
This weekend honors the Declaration of Independence adopted on July 4, 1776, reminding us of the intent that everyone is created equal and the importance of continuing to focus on inclusiveness and justice for all.
